Weekly devotional based on the sermon of Sun., May 1, 2016

Reflecting on God’s love: in sacrificing the Son, the cross stands in our midst as a focal point, reminding us that we are all included in the debt paid for our sins. Christ alone took our sins away by His body and blood, so we are thus marked for life by His love. Just as the cross fits and covers every person’s sin, so does His love, from the first to the last person.

In the midst of life’s crisis and difficult circumstances, may God’s love through Christ be a loving presence within your heart – be still and know God is with you.
