Coming Home (Weekly Devotional)

What do we feel when we hear the words “coming  home”? Perhaps a sense of warmth and belonging, a place with which we connect and reconnect. God gives us those moments through which we can grow closer one to another.

The story of the prodigal son, as narrated in Luke’s gospel, is a story of compassion and a home coming like no other. The son who was lost comes home! We too may have moments within the chapters of our lives when we’ve been given second chances - such is God’s love, i.e., unconditional in every sense.

May the Lord bless the chapters of your own life time and time again!
