FPCN's Garden Club has started a farmer's market on our church lawn.

The Garden Club started in May, when several members of the congregation, under the direction of Dolores Joseph, gathered to weed, turn over soil, and plant seeds and seedlings of several herbs and vegetables. Thanks to abundant rainfall and the dedication of the club's members, many vegetables are maturing quickly.

Since July, the Garden Club has made several vegetables available for purchase after the Sunday morning worship service. Vegetables being grown include arugula, collard greens, Swiss chard, peas, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, and various herbs including basil, rosemary, and thyme.
