Fishers of Men (Weekly Devotional)

Weekly devotional based on the sermon of Sun., Jan. 24, 2016

Jesus calls on us, saying, “Come, follow me, and I will make you fish for people.” This is a somewhat strange fishing expedition, yet it is what it is, because it’s the Lord Himself who calls and equips us with what we need at all times and places. To “fish” for people is spiritual in every sense, thus proclaiming the Good News of salvation for all.

In the deepest sense of our calling, we have a sacred connection as we stay equipped with divine energy. We also have a meaningful purpose in and through Christ, whose presence is a sure thing.

May the unfailing love of Christ enfold and lift you up at all times.
